Weekly Half-holiday

FOXTON REVERTS TO WEDNESDAY. Per Press Association. FOXTON, Jan. 27. At a special meeting of the Foxton Borough Council it was decided on the casting vote of the Mayor to revert to Wednesday half day. Saturday had been in vogue since September last, but the town was divided and petitions praying for the fixation of both Wednesday and Saturday were submitted by large deputations. Feeling is running high and further petitions are now in circulation by supporters of Saturday.
