In the House of Commons Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, replying to Mr. G. Mander (Labour), said that it was an exaggeration to say that discussions with Mr. Nash had proceeded for some months regarding the entry of British manufacturers, and the equitable entry of prodee into Britain. However, they were making progress, and a report would soon.be possible. Mr. MacDonald also stated that the agenda cf the Imperial Conference was not yet finally determined. The Government hoped it would be possible to discuss migration, and they were always prepared to receive Dominion representations on the subject. Mr. Gallagher: Will the Government laise the question of the return of British subjects stranded in the Dominions ? There was no reply. Mr. Burgin questioned whether until an agreement on Pacific shipping was reached with the Dominion if it were impossible to make a statement.
