Mr and Mrs W. Couper, who were married early in the month, were given a very very jolly housewarming when they returned from their honeymoon Playing at Kimbolton on Saturday, the tennis team was successful in winning its first match for the Haythorne Cup. The pulpit in the Methodist Church on Sunday evening was occupied by the Rev. A. O Jones, an ex-pastor of this district. Next Sunday morning Mrs Terry and a party from Feilding will conduct the serin common with most districts, haymaking has been considerably interrupted and delayed through wet and unseasonable wether. Gardens are also showing a rather bedraggled appearance on account of the wind and rain which has been experienced. The main roads to Mangaweka and Ohingaiti were considerably damged by a cloudburst last Saturday afternoon.
