FILM STAR'S REPUDIATION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Uopyricnu LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20. Mrs Violet Norton, aged 47, a Canadian, has been arrested on a charge of attempting to obtain money from Clark Cable, claiming that he is the father of her thirteen-year-old daughter born in England in 1922. She said that when 3he saw him on the screen she recognised him. The screen star said he was never in England and did not know the woman.
