EMPLOYEE GIVES HIMSELF Ul\ Per Pres 3 Association. WELLINGTON, Jau. 27. Stated by the police to have given himself up entirely voluntarily, there being no evidence against him, Leslie Knopp, aged 27, storeman, was charged with breaking, and entering the F remises of the Tui Bottling Co. where he was employed and stealing six bottles of beer valued at ss. The story told the police by the accused was that when given the key* when he was working overtime he had a duplicate set made and used these about half a dozen times to get small quantities of liquor. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Donald Thomas Ball, aged 20, mechanic, Ronald Maurico Chalmers, aged 25, mechanic, and James Harrington, aged 25, factory hand, who were charged with breaking and entering the same premises and stealing liquor valued at 20s, were further remanded.
