New Chief of Victorian Police
SCOTLAND YARD INSPECTOR, United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 2 a.m. MELBOURNE, Jan. 26. Chief-Inspector Alexander Duncan, of Scotland Yard, was appointed to-night Chief Commissioner of the Victorian Police for five years at a salasy of J 1250 per annum.
