Tons of Dynamite Explode
SIXTEEN KILLED; MANY INJURED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, Received Tuesday, 9.50 pjn. NEW YORK, Jan. 25. A message from Chuquicemata, Chile, says a premature explosion of 1500 tons of dynamite in the largest copper mines in the world killed 16 and injured 201 with 15 missing. The charge was set off as an exhibition lor newspapermen touring the mines en route for home from the Pan-American Press Conference at Valparaiso.
