United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 9.25 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 2G. Mr Baldwin will present in the Commons this afternoon a message signed by tho King’s own hand, asking for the passage of legislation establishing a regency to provide for tho administration of the Government in the event of the King being overseas or ill or in the event of the demise of the Crown before the heir to the throne has reached the age of eighteen. It is recalled that a Regency Bill was passed when George V. acceded ami the Prince of Wales was barely sixteen, but apart from the question relating to Princess Elizabeth, the Bill will clear the ground for any Empire visit the King may wish to make.
