Heavy Flooding in England

THAMES CAUSING TROUBLE. (British Official Wireless.) Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. RUGBY, Jam 25. Heavy rains during the week-end aggravated tiie situation caused by the flooded rivers in many parts of the country. In tho Thames valley between Oxford and Bun bury flooding is assuming serious proportions and for many miles the river is running bunk hign or overflowing into the adjacent mcadowland. Lower down the river near Walton end Shepperton many bungalows became isolated yesterday and roads were flooded elsewhere in valleys of tho Thames and its tributaries.
