BLOWS. IN NAPIER MATCH (Special to “Times.") NAPIER, Jan. 26. Two swimmers .in a water polo match at the Napier Public Baths last Saturday night who were ordered out Dt‘ the water for a breach of the rules of tho game are to appear before the judicial committee of the Hawke’s Bay Swimming Centre next Monday night, when a formal inquiry will be held. The centre considered the incident p.t its meeting in Napier last night, the discussion being held in committee. The unethical behaviour of tho two swimmers occurred during the second half of a “friendly” polo match refereed by Mr. C. Atkinson. It is alleged that ono of the swimmers, in addition to kicking members of tho opposing team, struck one on the face, whereupon a third swimmer retaliated. As a result, tho two who struck blows were ordered out of tho water, and tho game continued.
