Car and Lorry Collide

PAKIPAKI ROAD ACCIDENT (Special to “Times.”) HASTINGS, Jan. 26. No serious injuries wero received by any of the passengers in a car which was in collision at l’akipaki, on the main road, last night, but the car was extensively damaged. The car, which was driven by Mrs. I'olly Nuku } was proceeding south at 10 o’clock last night when it became involved with a lorry, driven by Mr. Simon Edilson, of Hastings. The lorry received a bent mudguard and some damage was done to the body, while the car was badly damaged on one side. There were four passengers in the car, but beyond some cuts and bruises, no serious injuries were received Rain was falling at the. time of the accident, and it is suggested that the lights of the truck dazzled the driver of tho car
