Stock Sales
The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of 2500 sheep at the Hunterville sale on Monday. The entry comprised principally lambs with a fair sprinkling of breeding ewes. The market for all classes of sheep was firm on recent sales and wc report a total clearance as follows: — 2-th ewes, 395; extra good to 42s Id; 5year ewes, 27s 6d to 30s; medium do., 25s 6d; C-year do., 21s 9d; mixed ago owes, 16s 3d to 17s 4d; 2-th wether3, 24s 9d; fat b.f. lambs, 23s 6d; woolly b.f. lambs, 17s 5d to 19s 6d; medium, do., 13s 6d to 16s Id; small, do., to 10s 9d; best w.f.w. lambs, 18s 6d to 19s 3d; medium, do., to 15s 2d; small, do., 8s 9J to 11s; ewe lambs, small, 17s 3d to 19s Id; small m.s. lambs, tail end lots, 8s 3d to 8s 9d.
