Surprise Party to Farewell Mr. M. Davidson
A very jolly party of young people called at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. Davidson, Fitzroy street, An Friday evening to farewell Mr Maurice Davidson, who, after four years in the Palmerston North office of the A.M.P. Society, has been transferred to the head office and leaves shortly for Wellington. Mrs W. J. Honore and Miss Frances Honore were the organisers of this jolly surprise party. Mrs Davidson, gowned in red floral crepe, and her daughter June, in white and gold, received the guests. At a suitable juncture Mr Hugh Lang expressed the regret of those present at Mr Davidson’s departure, at the same time wishing him success in his new sphere. A presentation of a suitcase was made. Mr M. Davidson responding. Supper was then enjoyed after which dancing aud games continued to au early hour. Among those present were' Mrs Honore, Mrs Davidson, Misses F. Honore, J.
