Oatmeal Lotion

Procure some toilet oatmeal and a cake of white soap. Shred the soap into small flakes and place one tablespoonful of the oatmeal and half a teafcpoonful of the soap in a small square of butter muslin. Tie this into a small bag. Throw the bag into a quart of hot water, and when the water has cooled down to blood temperature, squeeze the bag out aud wash the face thoroughly witha it in place of the usual soap. Then rinse the face well with the milky water. As a powder foundation tho dry-skinned person should use a not too greasy based cold cream.
