Miss Brandt’s Services Recognised
At the conclusion of tho meeting of the Oroua County Council yesterday, reference was made by the chairman, Cr. A. Campbell, to the impending departure of Miss R. Brandt,- who has been assistant in the county office for the past ten years. Mr Campbell eulogised the efficient work done in the council’s interest by Miss Brandt during her long term of service in the office. As a token of appreciation, and in view of her recent marriage, Airs Tosswill (Aliss Brandt) was made the recipient of a cheque from councillors, several of whom endorsed tho chairman’s remarks. Mrs Tosswill will make her new home in Tauinaranui. Her successor in tho county office is Miss Maguire.
