FRANKTON QUOTATIONS HAMILTON, Jan. 19. Fat wethers were penned in good numbers at the Frankton saleyards today, competition being steady and prices on a par with recent quotations. There was a smaller entry of fat ewes and values showed a rising tendency. A smaller entry of fat lambs was absorbed by the exporters at schedule rates. Buyers were offered a full entry of cattle, with a large proportion of vealers. Competition was again good and prices firm. There was a smaller yarding of ox beef, comprising mostly light-weight cattle. The demand was fair with prices a shade easier.
