Coming-of-age Happily Celebrated

On Tuesday evening a jolly party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs Georgo Bruce, Cook street, to colebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter, Dorothy. A number of friends gathered to offer their congratulations, and Miss Bruce was tho recipient of many gifts. Dancing, games, and musical items were enjoyed by the company. At the supper interval, Mr W. Robb, a friend of the family for many years, proposed the health of the guest of honour, Mr George Bruce replying on his daughter’s behalf. The party concluded at an early hour of the morning, when Auld Lang Syne brought the successful celebration to a close.
