(Per Press Association.) NELSON, Last Night The Governor-General and Lady Forgussbn wore accorded a most enthusiastic reception at Motueka by a very-large gathering of the district. Notable features were children’s and .pioneers’ functions. ' A large Civic luncheon followed. Fruit, hop and tobacco gardens were later inspected, and processes in tobacco ’ drying kilns and apple pack, ipg sheds described The Whakarcwa Home, which has been ,a \ refuge for destitute Maori and Pakeha children for over sixty years was also visited. „ The Vice-Regal party leaves for Wellington this evening. . Although Nelson was not visited officially Their • Excellencies wera driven round to the schools and colleges, where inspiring addresses were given. A call was also made at the Masonic Orphanage for girls, where Their Excellencies were delighted with the surroundings.
