FURTHER MATCH RESULTS, On Thursday evening the following championship and handicap doubles matches were played off on the South street courts: — Men’s championship singles (first match to bo played in the sccoiy' round): Robinson beat Darragh, 6-5, 4-6 6-3. Ladies’ championship singles (first round): Mrs. Caldwell beat Miss E. Eliott, 6-4, 5-6, 6-2; Miss Ellcrm beat Miss Maguire, 6-3, 6-1; Miss Rutherford beat Miss Boddy, 6-3, 6-2; Miss Shepherd beat Miss Mason 6-2, 6-2. Ladies’ handicap doubles (first round): Misses Boddy and Rutherford (5) beat Miss. Lange and Miss Foster (141), 50-41.
