In, addition to breaking numerous short-distance records on the French tracks, the Voisin, a French car, employing the Knight typo of engine, recently smashed the world’s records for 12 and 24 hours. In 24 hours on the Montlilery track the Voisin averaged 1135 miles an hour for 24 hours, covering a total distance of 2724 miles. In 12 hours the Voisin set a record of 1353 miles for an average speed of 112 miles an hour. It sets a new mark for 1000 miles, 2000 kilometre! and 300 miles. The car also holds world’s records for 10 kilometres, 100 miles, and 1000 kilometres.
