THE RAILWAY JUNCTION.
Mr Maoartimr telegraphed to us last eveniug as follows : — Wellington, Oct 29. Mr Richardson is going to let the G-orge. contract at once, and the contract from Tahoraite to Woodville, and promises that the whole line Bhall l?e completed m two years. In reference to the junction the Minister agrees that Pajmerston is the proper place, hut he will have to consult his colleagues first. Ido not anticipate any difficulty about the change. I cannot get the Palmerston- Gorge section undertaken this session.
