ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AT ORMOND.
Per Press. Association. • Gisborne, Octobor 27, Mrs Gatteley, wife of a settler at Orraond, attempted suicide on Saturday morning by 'throwing \ herself into the river. She was promptly rescued by Captain Winter, the county engineer, who happened to be near.
