The above was opened this morning before Judge Rawson. The only civil case on the list was that of Blackmore v Feilding Borough Council, claim of £200 for general damages resulting from the Makino Bridge being washed on to his property by the late heavy flood, Mr

Staite with Mr Warburton for plaintiff ; Mr Hankins with Mr Goodbehere for defence. The following were empanelled as a jury : — T. S. Hoe, J. B. Hamilton, Hosking and Haybittle, The case had not concluded when we went to press.
