FLOUR MILLS DESTROYED BY FIRE IN NELSON.
(PEB PRESS A88OCIATIOK.) JNiLSON, Oct 21. Messrs Bryant and Mills' flourmills at'Motueka were destroyed by fire this afternoon. The fire commenced m the roof of the engineroom, but it is not known how it originated ; there was a heavy stock of wheat on hand, and only about ten tons were saved. The buildings were insured for £600, divided between the South British, Standard, and Victoria, The outbuildings were saved. The esti» mated lass on the building is £800, above the insurance, and the total loss £600, th* oontentg being unin* sured ; there was also a large quantity of wheat aud flour belonging to ether persons, also uninsured.
