CAPTURE OF THE NELSON LUNATIC.
! (Per Press Association.) | ' ' Nelson, Thii Day. The lunatic Gibson was captured last night m Pigeon VaUey, Wakefield. At about 7 o'dock'last night, Mr Wads* worth was walking with a young lady, and when near the foot bridge saw a man barefooted walk on to .the road about 100 yards distant, and feeling sure it was Gibson ii.c . dashed off after him- As soon as Gibson saw he was observed, he made off with the intention of making the bush but Wadsworth was too quick and after a sharp run caught the man who was fortunately unarmed and offered no resistance. Wadsworth obtained the assistancejof some settlers and brought Gibson 'o Spring Grove, from whence shortly after he was rumored to town. Gibson bears no signs of exposure, and looks the picture of health anil strength. r He was wearing a bag m place of a coat, the head and arms being thrust through holes cut m it. On being charged with shooting Buscu he replied that no one. saw him do it, and they could not prove iti He seems mno way violent, Wadsworth deserves great praise, as search parties were out m quite different direc* tions. From latent reports Busch i« progressing satisfactory.
