TO THE EDITOB. Bir, — Through the kindnes* of Mr James Linton, I am m t position to state that the sum of £77 9s 2d has been charged against the Karere District on account of the Kawau Bridge. Wha* does the Municipal Corporation's Act say : " Where a bridge crosses a utream of which one bank is within a Borough, such bridge shall be under the control of, an 1 shall be maintained by, the Borough „,..
