DANGEBOUB TREKS, &C. Every occupant, whether with or without right, niul whether m his own right -or tho. right of any pi her person, of any land within the Borough, and every person entitled to the immediate possession of tiny such laud upon which any old, dead, rotten, decaying, burn ing, or otherwise unstable tr »c shall be standing within its own height from any public or private street, or public place, shall take proper precaution* that neither it nor any pnrt thereof may be, or appear to be, likflv to fall on to ov into ar.y such street. If any such person a* aforesaid shall fail or neglect tn take any «uch precaution as aforesaid, every such per>on shall be liable to « penulty not exceeding £5 for every «u<*h offence, and the Borough Engineer or ■the Inupctor of Nuisances may take any such precautions as aforesaid. The Council any appoint one ormore. person to be ranger or rangers, and every such ranger shall be tho proper officer of the Council -within the meaning of the existing bye-laws relating to the obstruction of struts by cattle, and numbered respectively 28 and 29, and shall impound all cows, horses, asses, sheep, goats, swine, or other cattle, found m any- street or on any unenclosed land without any fit person m charge thereof,^within the Borough.
