A special meeting of the Manchester High- • ways B^oard was held m the office on Monday afternoon, for the purpose of confirming Mr. Boqth's appointment as Inspector of JTuiiance:— Present Wardens Macarthur '.(in chair) Bartholomew and Douglas. ; I> w ( as proppaed by Mr. DouaLAS seconded by Mr- -Bahthoiombw and carried — That r Mr. Booth's appointment as • Inspector of Nuitance. f or. SJanchetter Highway District be confirmsd. ■'!" It* was also proposed by Mr. Dotjglas, seconded byfMij. arid carried— jhat Mr. Booth be instructed to proceed against Mr. Albert Plummer und«r clause 60 of The Public Health Act. The meeting then separated.
