A GRIEVA NCE.

TO THE EDITOE. Stß,— We havp for some time past been endeavouring to improve our properties on No. 1 line m Foxton, and are sorry to say we are unable to do so owing to a party stopping up the only outlet we have, thereby causing the water to overflow our property (or parts of it). The Local Board, some time ago, promised to have this particular matter seen to, and furthermore stated that they were going to buy a section from Mr Gray and have a proper drain cut. As we contribute rather largely to the Local Board funds, we are entitled to alittle consideration and attention, but it appears to us that those who are m the above-named office study self first and friends after. Hoping the- hint will be taken, as something must be done — We are, &c, Ratepayers.
