Wellington, Saturday. The Colonial produce prices are depressed. Butter m keg 3is m littlfc demand, and first quality cure is difficult to place at 7£d to Bd. per lb. ; cheese, dull at 6id to 7d per lb., for prime Canterbury ; bacon and hams, full stocks at nominal rates; -cloth-packed Canterbury cure is selling at 7£d to 8d for trade lots. Southern flour is low6r, and sales of best brands have beenmade at £12 lOs per ton for sacks, nor does there seem to bo any prospect of higher rates. Oats are unchanged from lasts week's rates of 4s to 4s 3d, for prime milling sorts. The new crop has not yet come forward m sufficient quantities to affect this market, but we do not think prices can be sustained. Potatoes m fair supply at 70s to 75s per ton ; maize difficult to quit at 4s ; sale 3at 3s lOd. Oamahu, Monday. A quantity of grain arriving. are not inclined to operate largely. Wheat, 4s ; oats, high 5 the inquiry is limited j 35., 3s Id ; barley, little offering, at 3s 3d., 4s 3d. - Sydney, Saturday. Brandy and kerosene are unchanged ; rice, £22 lOs to £23 ; New Zealand wheat, 5s to 5s 3d ; tobacco, sugar, and candles remain unchanged. Adelaide, Saturday. Flour, £13 ; wheat unchanged.
