The Jane Douglas left Wellington at 4 p.m. on Monday, arrived at Kapiti at 1.30 a.m. on Tuesday, where she anchored until 4.30 a.m. and then resumed her passage, arriving at Foxton at 10 a.m. During the passage she experienced strong N.W. winds with very heavy sea.
