It is stated the Governor has reoeived a telegram from the Imperial authorities : approving of the action of the Governor m consenting to the item of payment of. members being placed on Appropriation, Bill ; and, further, instructing him not to interfere m disputes between the tw,a Chambers of the legislature.. O'Loghlan defeated Francis by a majority of ninety. The crowd (several thousands) afterwards broke the windows of the Argus- and Tfelegraphoffiice-Si. also injuring some constables with. s.tones«
