DUNEDIN.
January 25. A man named Lewis, an undertaker, was brought up on a charge of affiliation, laid against him by a pretty young girl. The evidence was that the defendant seduced the girl during his wife's absence at Oamaru. The defendant, who is the father of eight children, denied the charge, which was dissmissed owing to the absence of corroborative testimony. The Rev. Charles Clark opens here on Wednesday.
