TO THE EDITOR, SiR,--In several issues of your rahiable paper lately there has appeared 1 correspondence respecting the promisefrom the committee of the Terrace- Krid' sports to give the balance of profits .' Ltp» the Treasurer ;of the Cemetery Trust Fund, I think it time to reply, es^ pecially as I am so palpably referred, to m " Comniitteeman's 1 * letter, ifc isn. less than a month since Boxing Day,, and the accoujita^are- not yet aiL colleated or settled; and, therefore,, it would be more to the interest of theCemetery Fund if its wellwisliers (?^ would exhibit a little patience,, even if it deprived them of the opportunity pjp their present intentions. With regard to the £5 referred to, I think "Corrimitteeman" catn hardly be what he signs himself or he would be ashamed! to allude to it. Anyone by ; reading; your newspaper can perceive that the£s was frittered away by the Balk Committee themselves, for I had to incur precisely that amount m legal expenses to recover my just claim under the contract. While on the subject,. I would much like to know whea thetenders were calh d for and who was.the contractor for fencing the CemeteryF — I am, &c M W. DEAJtDB.
