There were several civil cases; but the only one of any interest was that of R. Ranfield v. Thomas Bevan, jun., for £27 16s, for wire and freight and car- • riage of same. Mr Cash appeared for the defendant. After lengthy evidence on both sides being heard, the plaintiff was non-suited. J
