Friday. A cable message to N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., dated London, 15th, describes wool sales closed at level of last sales. On 14th inst., 60,000 bales were held over for future disposal. 60,000 were taken for export. A good many second-hand parcels have been offered during past sales. Cross-bred, firmer ; superior greasy, market easier ; scoured and superior combing washed, market unchanged ; tallow, quiet ; mutton, 40s ; beef, 38s 6d ; wheat, Jj^jjjket quiet, foreign arrivals heavy; AdHiide, 665 : N. Zealand, 50s ; leather, .market flat— best sides, 10|d.
