Somerville & Darley, the Evangelists, are to arriv^ at Auckland m January, and visit Christchurch and Dunedin. A private offer of £10,500 was refused for the "Times" freehold. . ; ,A fire occurred at Guthrie & Larnach's hardware store. A large quantifcy of kerosene and sixteen kegs of powder were stored, with other iMammable materials. The powder Tap not got out before the last keg was oavnre. Origin of fire unknown.
