NELSON.
Friday. Captain Studely, .master and sole owner of barque Emma, and a seaman named Carl Kusberg, were swept overboard and drowned on the Ist inst., on the. passage from Mauritius. Another seaman was washed over the side by the same sea, but- his legs became entangled m the main brace, ancl he managed to scramble on board. The vessel was brought on. byMr. Bloxall, chief officer. : "- ':~ 7 ~
