V v Satuirday. The Agricultural Show yesterday was an immense success. The total number ol entries was 922, as against 895 last year.! The competition m nearly every department was exceedingly, teen.' .The New Zealand and Australian Land Company, and Gillies and Sbeet, bpth, Otago. firms, took the, bulk of the prizes- m Leicester and Liar' coin sheep classes. The dispja^pf sheep, cattle, and horses^ Snii also of, implements and mianafactures, was very fine. r The n^nfdance was largely m excess of i ; that of any previous year. Over WOO was taken at the gatesV representing nearly fourteen thousand visitors. .
