It is hereby .publicly notified that it is the intention of the above ' Council, at its Meeting on WEDNESDAY, the 17th October, to strike a General Rate of Si.xpence m the £ on the, annual value of all rateable properties m the County of Manawatu, and that such rate is for a period of one year, from the Ist day of Apbil last to the 31st day of Maboh next ensuing. Tbe rate will be due and payable on the 29th day of OCTOBER, at the offices of the Council, Foxton.
