Friday; It is stated ©& good authority, that after various -.attempts' by Larnach to* form a Ministry, at a meeting yesterday afternoon^ it was finally carried by a majority of 27 to 5* that Grey should be entrusted with the leadership ; and 1 a further resolution was carried thatGrey should inform the Governor that ke was prepared to foral a Ministry*
on condition, that the' Governor would grant a dissolution if- Grey could not command a majority m ; . the' House. Grey will accordingly probably .wait on the Governor to-day, and inform the llouse of the result this evening.
