October 6. A Turkish official despatch reports * great battle at Grumvie m Asia Minoiy with a favorable result to the Turks. A Russian «fiefficiai despatch statesthat on the 2nd the Eussians captured entrenchments near Ears on Mukhat's left, repulsing large masses of Turks, but subsequently abandoned them, owing to- the want of water. The Russian* loss- was 83 officers arid 3,200 men. The Turkish loss was" .enormous. A , Turkish official despatch " from- - Mukhat Pasha reports a complete vie i tory on the 2nd. The Russians attacked the whole line, but were compelled to i retire, the Turks pressing -them to" i Opachai. The- Russian loss was 5,000; the Turkish is unknown. . Other dccoißitsr say the battle was in--decisive. 'She Czaris resolved to remain with 1 tbe army until the war is ended.
