Claim, £4 8s 6d, for work done arid shingles, &c, supplied. • Mr McLean appeared for the plaintiff. • ' The defence'was. that this claim had been settled by goods given in-exchange, and further that the. , shingless were of inferior quality'; ' but as it appeared that no entry had been made m defendant's books of the transaction, the Court would not admit the plea, . and gave judgment for plaintiff for the amount, and costs 19s. \ T.
