I hereby give notice, that the following Resolutions were arloptcd at a Special Mooting on the 38th April. ai)<l that such Resolutions will be confirmed on the 31st May : — That Salary to the Clerk of the Council will be at the rale of £150 per annum. That the Bye-Laws, as proposed, be adopted. That the Salary of Chairman be £150 for his term of Office ending m November next. That the Tolls of the Lower Ferry, Manawatu Gorge, be jiassed as printed. That the Scale of Charges at present m force as read, at Foxton Ferry, be adopted. That Hawkers and Pedlars pay a half-yearly License Fee of £5 such license, to free them over the area of the County, excepting such portions as are contained m Local Board boundaries. ERNEST S.
