Wednesday. The meeting yesterday was the largest held for some time past. Tawhiao,B,ewi, Maunhiri, and all the principal chiefs were present. The object of the meeting was to .welcome the Lower Waikatos. Seven large bullocks and potatoes m tons were presented to them. Eewi g^ave them the choice of a piece of land from Pamia to Waia, to settle upon.
