DUNEDIN.
Friday. The morning broke beautifully fine for the All England cricket match, but at 1 o'clock, about when the match began, it was showery. Otago won the toss and went to the wickets, Hill and Southerton bowling. At lunch time, about 2 o'clock, there were four wickets gone for 23 runs. The fielding had been- unexceptionable and runs were made slowly. The conclusion of the match had not come through when the Telegraph Office closed, the wires being clogged.
