Wednesday. The interest taken, m the regattas growing considerably as the daysjqfc, proaches. The Nelson and two Wellington crews are steadily practising^; _ t morning and evening. The; ThaTnJj^V crews. and two boats are expected by the Hawea, and the Kaiapoi boats on Friday. At present the Dolly Varden (Wellington) crew are decidedly the favourites. The course which is perfectly straight, meets with general approval. All the entries close at the Trafalgar Hotel, at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
