Airs C. A. Small, Airs P. E. Flood and Aliss Al. Forrest were hostesses at the last of the winter series of bridge parties held in the Y.AV.C.A. club rooms yesterday, the prize-winners being Airs Sihidt (contract) and Airs AV. Black (auction). For the season’s highest scores Airs AY. J. Phillips and Mrs Patterson were the winners. The second consignment of comtorts for the Alaori Battalion was despatched to-day, there being two large cases of 'homemade fruit cakes, and biscuits, as well as chocolates and other delicacies. These gifts are being made possible through the donation of the Alassey College students.
