When a district resident was charged in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with negligently driving a oar in Broadway, as the result of striking a safety zone, his counsel stated that these, traffic sta-ndards were hard to see at night. The Magistrate (Mr Lawry) refused to accept this view and imposed a fine of £5.
