A spectacular and at times rough wrestling contest at Auckland between John Jvatan, Canada, and Lofty Blomfield, Auckland, ended abruptly, Blomfield having a penalty fall given against him for pushing the referee over when the latter was attempting to separate the pair during an exchange of jolting into which he considered punching was being introduced. At the time each had a fall.
